Jesse Miller, HFA, Practice Administrator
Jesse Miller joined Highland Retina Associates as Practice Administrator in March 2023. Since joining Highland Retina Associates, Jesse has leveraged his experience and leadership abilities to foster collaboration among staff, ensuring high employee satisfaction while enabling Highland Retina Associates to deliver cost-effective, exceptional care to its patients. Jesse has honed his skills in financial and labor management, strategic planning, human resources, project management, patient care, and contract negotiation. Jesse holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and has been a licensed Health Facility Administrator since May 2018. His passion for working with people and commitment to achieving excellence make him instrumental to Highland Retina Associates and the communities it serves.
Christina Vines, Billing and Network Contracting Manager
Since joining Highland Retina Associates in 2019, Christina has progressed through multiple roles, beginning as a Front Desk Receptionist and advancing to her current position as Billing and Network Contracting Manager. She is a certified Ophthalmic Coding Specialist and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University. Christina has strong knowledge of practice operations, experience in negotiating payer contracts, optimizing reimbursement structures, and ensuring compliance with provider agreements. Christina’s dedication to accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality patient service has played a key role in the success and operational growth of Highland Retina Associates.
Amber French, Technician Manager, COA
Amber joined Highland Retina Associates in November 2021. Amber has been in ophthalmology since 2005, obtaining her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification in 2007. She obtained her Ophthalmic Scribe Certification in 2022. Amber has played a vital role in building the foundation of our clinic with her vast knowledge and extensive experience in ophthalmology and her drive to continue learning. Amber never hesitates to take on extra responsibilities and consistently delivers precise results.
